I had a BaZi consultation session in Zoom with a client stationed in Vietnam.
Starting his own business
The client is a senior management staff of a large organization. He is hoping to start his own business and invite potential investors to fund his business venture. He asked me whether this is the right time. However, running a business versus working as a management professional is an entirely different animal. Looking at the current Luck Cycle Pillar (大运), it is still not supportive of the opportunity which he may consider holding on to his current job.
Timing with action
In his next Luck Cycle Pillar (大运), he would have a much better chance of success in getting funding from investors as the Earth element in the natal chart’s Year Pillar (年柱) and Month Pillar (月柱) form a wealth relationship with the next Luck Cycle Pillar (大运). In the meantime, the client could broaden his existing business networks, deep dive into all As to Zs of the business, and gather all the necessary resources for laying its business foundation. After all, investors nowadays are more knowledgeable and sophisticated, as such, the entrepreneur would need to demonstrate his business case before investors consent to part their smart money to invest in the business.
A good BaZi chart shows only potential possibilities, however, nothing would happen if the person does not take the appropriate actions and efforts to achieve those possibilities. With that, positive outcomes could materialize at the right place and at the right time.
