Find the Facing Direction of a House Feng Shui

In Feng Shui, it is important to establish the correct facing direction of the property, either a landed house or a high-rise apartment. It is an important piece of information used for plotting the energy map of the property. A Feng Shui Master analyses the energy map of the property to assess how the energy (or qi) is flowing to your property. This offers information on how the energy is received and distributed inside the property i.e. doors, bedrooms, study room, balcony, and kitchen. In a professional Feng Shui consultation, the Feng Shui Master will use the luo pan (or Feng Shui compass) to measure the magnetic facing direction of the house. If you are doing it on your own, you can do-in-yourself by measuring the magnetic facing direction using your smartphone device. There are eight facing directions of House Feng Shui:-- North

- East
- West
- North-East
- North-West
- South-East
- South-West
High Rise Condominium Apartment
As for the high-rise condominium apartment, the facing direction of the apartment will be the same as the facing direction of the entire condominium building.
Sometimes, it is not so straightforward as it may have a few building blocks in a cluster with irregular shapes that could have different possible facing directions.
Generally, you may take reference that the facing of the condominium building to be:-
- The more aesthetic side of the building
- The main entrance of the building
Once you determine the facing of the building, you can stand in front of the building with your back facing the building and take the compass reading using your smartphone device.
