What is Flying Star Si Hua Zi Wei Duo Shu?
Flying Star Si Hua Zi Wei Duo Shu (飞星四化紫微斗数) (commonly known as the Purple Star Astrology), is an ancient art of Destiny Analysis used by Chinese astronomers in Imperial Courts to delineate astrological charts solely for the emperor, as his destiny was tied to the fate of his dynasty.
In comparison, Bazi (八字) emphasizes on strength of Qi (Yang) or energies whereas Zi Wei (紫微）focuses with Shu (Yin) or calculations. Specifically, Zi Wei focuses on the cause, development and potential outcome of events based on the positions of Astrological Stars (星曜) in 12 Palaces (十二宫) and interaction of Flying Star Si Hua (飞星四化) during various luck cycles.
It uses the birth information, that is, the Year, Day, Month and Hour in Chinese Astrology to calculate the Zi Wei chart for analyzing an individual’s destiny path in his or her life time.
